We may have the answer.
2016 X- Roads of the Rockies National Dual Sport is POSTPONED until 2017.
The San Isabel Ranger District of the USFS was very cooperative, but the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) was Not.
The course would not work without BLM permission. We had run this event since 2012 as a club ride, less than 75 not requiring a permit, but does not make sense monetarily to continue as a small event.
To work with the USFS, we have to get on the AMA event schedule before final permit approval.
We sincerely apologize for postponing the event, and will try and work with the USFS and BLM for a 2017 permitted Dual Sport event of National Caliber.
